i'm so glad we serve a RISEN JESUS! i love HIM so.
today the kids did their easter play in ChasePlace. i love seeing those smiling faces and hear their voices lifted to Jesus. i love seeing hearts that are willing to sing to Him. i like seeing the volunteers work together as we tear down & set up...as we move chairs, inflate jump-in things, set up stations, and then have some chaortic fun. kids laughing & smiling & adults hanging out. it all looks like church to me.
i liked today :-) i love Jesus, i love riverchase, i am thankful to be part of this thing called the new testament church. i'm just kinda hoping and praying for the time when "many are added to our church daily"!! (dv) slow growth is better than no growth--
Lord please knock on the hearts of the people You want at riverchase. help us not grow weary. thank you Jesus for dying for me, my sin, thank You for making the way for us, so that we can just come straight to You. Thank you for this day! Help me to celebrate Your resurrection EVERY day!

amen to all of that ....
yeah, Angie, said on her blog that Christ is Risen.... "that's enough for today"...
truth is THAT's ENOUGH! for all that we need to go on and find strength to live out our faith! like you said, sissy ... Lord, help me celebrate Your resurrection EVERY day!
in our homeschool group meeting today, we talked with the children about the resurrection. it was so cool to see these little people understanding the true meaning of easter. i tossed out the question to the kids, "why do you guys think there was stone placed in front of the tomb where Jesus was buried?" mackenzie promptly answered, "well, so the bad smell from the dead body wouldn't leak out." sigh. back to the drawing board.
:-) that's a good answer, just not the right one.
funny kids! gotta love 'em
When Dax got up Sunday, he said the following:
Mom, today is the day that Jesus rose from the dead!
What made it so shocking to me was that most of the one syllable words had 3 or more syllables. His Southern accent is coming on very strong!!!!!
